The Allium 'Globemaster', 'Allium albopilosum/elatum', a fall planted ornamental onion bulb, will produce large flowers. This gigantic Allium is a cross breed between Allium albopilosum and Allium elatum. One flower measures 10" across and the flowering period lasts for several weeks to a month. New florets constantly appear and cover the old ones. The Allium Globemaster is ideal for containers, mass plantings, borders, and cut flowers. These plants are rabbit, squirrel, and deer resistant.
