Premium Crop Broccoli

The Broccoli Premium Crop, 'Brassica oleracea', has large, firm dark green heads with small buds. This hybrid has the ability to hold its quality longer on the plant than most varieties. Good for freezing and widely used by processors and home gardeners. Late summer planting is recommended in warm summer areas or short spring areas. Broccoli prefers rich, moist, well drained soil with lots of organic matter. Soil PH should be very slightly acid to neutral.
